This policy explains how the restaurant Le Pesage processes your personal data when you use our table booking and event enquiry forms, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Only the information you provide through our forms:

• Table booking : name, email, phone, date, time, number of guests, optional message.
• Event enquiry / private hire : name, company, email, phone, type of event, number of guests, preferred date, indicative budget, message.

We collect no sensitive data and use no advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• To process and manage your booking or event enquiry, and to get back to you — legal basis: pre-contractual measures / performance of the service at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• To ensure the proper functioning and security of the service — legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).

4. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible to the Le Pesage team and to our technical providers, all located in the European Union:

• Supabase — secure database hosting (EU, Ireland).
• Resend / Amazon SES — sending confirmation emails (EU, Ireland).
• Vercel — website hosting.

We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Retention period

• Table bookings: kept for a maximum of 12 months after the booking date, then deleted automatically.
• Event enquiries: kept for a maximum of 24 months, then deleted automatically.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to us at laurent.collavo@live.fr.

You may also lodge a complaint with theData Protection Authority (DPA, Belgium).

7. Display fonts

The site uses Google Fonts, loaded from Google's servers, which may involve your IP address being transmitted to Google when pages load.
